Remember reading about how telemedicine is on the rise? Lol, I do. If only they knew.

Schools, happy hours, and more are now held on Zoom or other video calling platforms to abide by the necessary social distancing rules. However, I was able to have a lot of new experiences with this over the weekend. For one, I attended a Zoom dance competition with attendees coming from all over the globe. That was pretty dope. Thanks, DancefromaDistance and onC.U.E.

I also met with a doctor for a telemedicine visit. Market research previously wrote about the rise of telemedicine. Now, I don’t know what a lot of people would do without it.

When I realized that I had a tick bite, I didn’t want to go to the doctor’s office where I could potentially become infected with COVID-19. I started looking up what a virtual doctor’s visit would entail and how I could schedule one. It turned out that I didn’t need an appointment and a CRNP could meet me at 8 PM on a Saturday night. (Lit Saturday night, amiright?) I was shocked at how convenient and easy the process was. Sure, I had to keep running out because I didn’t prepare by having a thermometer or my insurance card ready which led to comical results. But, the experience went smoothly and I was able to pick up my prescription from my RiteAid drive-thru the next day.

This is the future. I don’t tend to veer into the Pharma world of advertising. But, virtual services will carry-over to different industries. How companies adapt to this will make or break their success. Change and innovation are consistent. Get ahead or even onboard. Or, fall behind.

Anyways, I had success with RediClinic to those in PA, NJ, DE, and TX who need to see someone!
